Crail Slide

The shared prerequisite is being able to stand on the coping with the back truck locked, whether that is a frontside 5-0 for The Raddii Zone, a frontside tailslide for David Gonzalez, or a backside tail stall for Ben Raemers. They also agree the grab is committed early and held, with the hand staying on the nose for the whole slide. Where they differ is the entry: The Raddii Zone builds up slowly from a stationary stall and only adds speed and slide at the very end, while Ben Raemers wants speed and a diagonal approach from the start so the board skims and scoops into the coping. The Raddii Zone is the only one who gives an explicit balance cue, pushing with the back toes on the tail against the pull of the front hand. David Gonzalez adds the practical note that a slick, waxed coping matters for whether the board slides at all.
