Key tips
Back foot goes near the center of the tail so the very tip hits the ground on the pop, not the heel side
Angle the front foot so it naturally wants to exit off the front-side edge as you do the ollie motion
The pre-flick is a subtle inward ankle bend on the front foot right as you pop, before the board leaves the ground
Flick with the ankle only, not the whole leg, forward and out off the edge just before the nose
Wheels must be off the ground before the flick; flicking too early while the board is still grounded kills the spin
Pull the front knee up toward your chest after the flick so the foot clears the board and does not stop the rotation
Back foot naturally rises to catch and stop the flip as the tail comes up; do not force it, let the board arrive
If the board flies in front of you, lean your upper body toward the nose to keep weight centered before the pop
