What this video teaches
A short focused Skate IQ clip that zeroes in on the tight low foot-position approach, specifically the cue to get maximum pressure on the front foot against the grip tape low on the board rather than flicking up into the nose. The board reacts so fast from this position that even slight contact will flip it.
Key tips
1Front foot sits at or below the center line of the board, lower than you would for most tricks
2Back foot on the toe-side tail with toes at the rail, you can let toes hang slightly off to hook the rail
3Majority of weight on the ball of the front foot, hold it there through the squat and pop to stay stable
4Do not jam the front foot up toward the nose, keep it low and press against the side of the board for the flip
5With the front foot that low the board flips and spins very fast, any pressure at all will activate it
6Watch the front bolts as the board comes around so your front foot lands on target
7Try to land soft to keep the landing controlled despite the fast rotation
8Combining back-foot pop-shove motion, front-foot kickflip motion, and the low foot position is what makes it accessible
